Is there a better time to knock down that hard liquor than Christmas time? I think not. Being a December baby and a gin lover I tend to just indulge to the max drinking gin in all forms. This time IÆm going to share a personal favorite with you that I hope all of you gin drinkers will enjoy for Christmas and I hope even you nondrinkers try this out for your guests.
Here is what you will need;
- Cup of sugar
- 8 rosemary sprigs
- 1 cup of grape juice
- ¥ cup of gin (or more if your desire is to get drunk)
- ¢ cup of tonic water
- ╝ of lemon juice
- Grapes for garnish
How to prepare;
- In a small saucepan, bring the sugar, 4 of the rosemary sprigs, and ¢ cup water to a simmer. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Strain the sugar syrup into a large pitcher. Add the grape juice, gin, tonic water, and lemon juice and stir to combine. Serve over ice; garnish each glass with grapes and 1 of the remaining rosemary sprigs.
Now sip that and tell me that the gates to heaven have not just opened for you. Happy Holidays
